Meet Melissa Weiss-Riner
A Mesa Family Lawyer Who Provides Practical Solutions
Melissa Weiss-Riner has lived in Mesa, Arizona for over 40 years. She obtained her B.A. in Administration from Ottawa University in 1999 and her J.D. from Phoenix School of Law in 2009.
Melissa was admitted to practice in 2010. She almost immediately knew that Family Law was where her passion is. She has practiced exclusively in Family law since 2012. Melissa is a compassionate and zealous advocate for her clients. She is well-known and respected by judges and court providers.
She is able to use her knowledge, experience to help reduce conflict when needed and focus on the client’s priorities.
Prior to becoming the founding Mesa family law attorney at Arizona Family Law Solutions, Melissa was a paralegal for 14 years at several large Phoenix law firms.
She worked primarily in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil litigation.
Today, Melissa’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law and family law mediation.

Melissa has served on the Board of Directors for Love of Christ Lutheran Church where she has attended since 1999. She has served on the Board of Directors for Mesa Community Action Network from 1997-2006 of which she served two years as President.
Other volunteer activities include past board member of the Friends of the Mesa Public Library, Stepping Stones Mentoring Youth at Risk and Community Legal Services, Resurrection Street Ministries and Family Promise.
